After choosing a coverage plan based on your needs, you’ll be directed to the registration page to input your personal information and preferred payment method. This allows you access to your membership page, where you’ll have the opportunity to add any additional appliances or equipment you want to protect.
Upon completion of the registration, you will receive a confirmation email, and your protection “Under the CAP” begins 15 days later.
This means that should any of your covered equipment fall into disrepair through regular usage, we will repair it at no additional cost to you. If it is irreparable, we will replace it up to a maximum that’s often double others in the industry.
Just head to our contact page to submit a service request form, and we will be there within 72 hours to get you back up and running!
(That time is reduced to 8 hours for winter furnace emergencies.)
Protection Summary
- Your CAP Plan covers all principal appliances under the selected tier and any additional or secondary equipment you have chosen from the add on menu.
- It is taken in good faith that this equipment is in proper working order upon registration.
- Upon failure as a result of normal usage and electrical or mechanical component failure, CAP will provide repair service on your protected equipment to restore them to standard operating condition.
- Should the equipment be deemed irreparable, you will be reimbursed towards the replacement of new and protected equipment as per the payout schedule in our terms & conditions.
- Should this reimbursement go towards an approved dealer, we will assist in the delivery and installation of your new item.
- Where service will not interfere with the manufacturer’s warranty, we will repair protected equipment still under their coverage and seek reimbursement from the warranty provider.
